Pierwsze z pojazd\u00f3w zacz\u0119\u0142y wozi\u0107 pasa\u017cer\u00f3w w drugim p\u00f3\u0142roczu 2021 roku. Podczas modernizacji pojazdy przesz\u0142y istotne zmiany, kt\u00f3re podnios\u0142y standard sk\u0142ad\u00f3w, tak aby jak najlepiej odpowiada\u0142y na potrzeby i oczekiwania pasa\u017cer\u00f3w.<br>W zmodernizowanych poci\u0105gach pasa\u017cerowie mog\u0105 skorzysta\u0107 m.in. z klimatyzacji, wygodnych foteli i Wi-Fi. Ka\u017cde miejsce ma dost\u0119p do gniazdka elektrycznego. Ponadto w ka\u017cdym sk\u0142adzie zosta\u0142y zainstalowane wzmacniacze sygna\u0142u kom\u00f3rkowego a pojazdy s\u0105 r\u00f3wnie\u017c dostosowane do potrzeb os\u00f3b z niepe\u0142nosprawno\u015bciami. Dodatkowo w ka\u017cdej jednostce jest miejsce przeznaczone do przewozu rower\u00f3w. Zmodernizowane pojazdy zosta\u0142y lepiej wyg\u0142uszone, co pozytywnie wp\u0142ywa na komfort podr\u00f3\u017cy. Odebrane wcze\u015bniej ED74 kursuj\u0105 obecnie na trasach Wroc\u0142aw \u2013 Katowice\/Cz\u0119stochowa \u2013 Kielce \u2013 Radom \u2013 Lublin, Lublin \u2013 Kielce \u2013 Katowice oraz Lublin \u2013 Kielce \u2013 Krak\u00f3w.<br>PESA Mi\u0144sk Mazowiecki posiada du\u017ce do\u015bwiadczenie w przegl\u0105dach i modernizacjach taboru kolejowego, wi\u0119c z zainteresowaniem przyst\u0105pili\u015bmy do zaprojektowania i dokonania przebudowy elektrycznych zespo\u0142\u00f3w trakcyjnych ED74 przystosowuj\u0105c je w pe\u0142ni do ruchu dalekobie\u017cnego.
